JAMMU, Jan 16: Two days Kissan Goshti w.e.f 15-01-2021 to 16-01-2021 under Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA) was held at Panchayat Jindlehar ,Zone Kirpind ,Sub Division R.S Pura under the active guidance of Chief Agriculture officer Jammu, A. S. Reen.
Today on the concluding day farmers were made aware regarding the latest technical know how in the field of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare scheme being implemented by department of Agriculture Production & Farmers Welfare like Prime Minister Micro food Processing Entrepreneurship under 'Atam Nirbar Bharat' ,KCC, PM kisan Saman Nidhi Youjna, subsidy on Farm Machinery etc Technical guidance was provided to the farmers relating application of fertilizer, weedicide , fungicide and pesticide ,how to take the soil samples and testing of soil sample. Problem of yellow rust and preventive measures was also discussed in detail during the camp.
