Jammu, Jan 31: Adding yet another feather in the cap of Doon International School, Jammu the Centre for Education Development (CED), an 0rganisation recognized by Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India , conferred 5 Star Rating to the school and honoured DIS Jammu with the ‘Futuristic School of Excellence’ award at its glittering 6th Annual Conference held at the Leela Ambience, Gurugram. The award was granted to the school keeping in consideration the mark it has made in the area of academic excellence, participation in co-curricular and social activities at national as well as international level and for providing a thriving, ethical and inspiring educational platform to the students. The principal of the school Vikesh Kaur was also conferred with ‘Effective Global leader 2020’ award for her futuristic vision and prudent leadership by providing innovative, pragmatic, creative and experiential learning in the school encapsulated with a happy and conducive environment. The Minister of State For Education Maldives Abdullah Rashid Ahmed was the chief guest on the occasion along with Anurag Tripathi, secretary CBSE, C.B. Sharma, former chairman NIOS and Sanyam Bhardwaj, controller examination CBSE, as the guests of honour. The entire event was made successfully possible by Priyadarshi Nayak, the Founder and chairman of the organisation. Vikesh Kaur, principal of the school congratulated the chairman G.N. Tantray and the entire team of DIS Jammu applauding the commendable achievement and the fructuous display of their determination since the Inception of the school. |
