| Tajinder demand implementation of Disabilities Acts 2016 | | |

Jammu, Feb 7: Renowned Social activist sardar Tajinder singh said that govt.is giving deaf ears to the issues being faced by the persons with disabilities in J&K,as in other states the person with disabilities are enjoying equal rights and care from government but in j&k persons with disabilities are discriminated. Tajinder demand immediate implementation of Disabilities Act 2016 with their rules in J&K, govt.must start special recruitment drive for qualified disabled persons , enhancement of monthly pension from Rs1000 to Rs 4000 per month and interest free loans to disable persons to start thier business.singh said govt. should reserve some percentage of seats in universities and professional colleges for physically challenged persons. There should be school for physically challenged and blind persons in every district or govt. should consider to have special classes in government schools in every district of jammu and kashmir UT so, that these disabled persons can get quality education to make their future bright.Tajinder added. |
