| Tawi Welfare Society organises Relief Distribution Function | | |

Jammu, Feb 7: Tawi Welfare Society Jammu organised relief distribution function at Apnavan Sure Chak today in which free ration( flour,rice,dal,biscuits, rusk,salt etc.)was distributed among 100 needy families of 22 villages of Tawi Island and surrounding area.Sh.Hamesh Manchanda Chief Engineer Irrigation and Flood Control Deptt.Jammu was the Chief Guest of this function. Society members welcomed the Guest by presenting a bouquet.A memento was also given as a token of love.
Nand kishor senior member of Society gave in brief the detail of different activities taken by the Society in his welcome address. Sh Manchanda in his address appreciated the work of Society and gave his full assurance to help/assist them in their activities in future. Vivek Kohli Executive Engineer Flood Control Deptt.was also present at this occasion. He also appreciated the work of Society and gave his assurance to assist in the activities of Society. Yash Paul General Secretary presented the vote of thanks. He thanked the Guests for sparing their valuable time on holiday.
