2/7/2021 11:20:15 PM

Early Times Report

UDHAMPUR, Feb 7: Apni Party has said that the National Conference has become desperate after defeat in Chairpersons – Vice Chairpersons elections for District Development Council in Srinagar and Shopian.
“Those questioning the Apni Party were once in alliance with BJP and they have added more problems in J&K’s politics then resolving issues of the people,” said Former Minister and senior leader Apni Party Mohammed Dilawar Mir.
Mir was speaking at One Day Workers Convention at Udhampur District in which over 200 people attended the convention which was organized by Former MLA Chenani Faqir Nath.
Welcoming them into the Party, Mir said that “They will not tell people of Kashmir that they were the alliance partner with BJP for the sake of power.” “These power hungry politicians have again resorted to defaming others because they know they have lost their political ground and they are not able to accept victory of the Apni Party in DDC elections,” he added.
He said “They have become desperate on seeing political power slipping out of their hands. They are not able to digest that people are joining the Apni Party with their own free will.”
Former Minister and Provincial President, Jammu, Manjit Singh said that Mansar, Dalsar, Gadseri Talab, Mantali, Chontra Mata Temple, Pancheri, Latti, Basantgarh, Khadi-Janni, Ramnagar Fort, Gouri Kund, Sudh Mahadev and similar other places should be promoted and given publicity outside J&K.
“There seems no effort from the administration and department concerned especially to promote these tourism places in view of poor developmental activities like road, water supply and electricity,” said Manjit Singh.
He said the leaders who represented Udhampur District have also miserably failed to represent the area and general employment opportunities for the locals.
OBC State Coordinator Madan Lal Chalotra, SC State Coordinator Bodh Raj Bhagat, Jammu Central Coordinator, Pranav Shagotra, and Media Coordinator, Raqeeq Ahmed Khan also spoke on the occasion and highlighted various developmental issues in Udhampur District.
Speaking on the occasion, Former MLA from Chennai, Faqir Nath said that the villages have no roads, and the people have to cover long distances on foot.
“Work on Talhani to Farole village has not been completed. Basantgarh road is also in deplorable condition,” said the Former MLA.
He said that “No proper electricity in rural areas and Udhampur town facing unscheduled power cuts. The situation has not improved and the developmental works have also stopped.”
Prominent among those who joined the Party included Shiv Sena leaders led by Satpal Chalotra, Kewal Krishan Sharma, Vishal Mahajan, Rattan Pal Sharma, Subash Chander, Jagdev singh, Romesh Chander, Atul Dogra, Krishan Chand Dogra, National Panthers Party leader Chanchal Singh, Romal Singh, Hukam Singh, Sansar Singh, Hoshiyar Singh, Parshotam Singh, Narinder Kumar, Sohan Lal, Chain Singh, Ganesh Singh Madan Lal, Aryan Singh, Puran Singh, Parkash Singh, Ajay Kumar Sunil Begira, BJP leader alongwith supporters including Daleep Singh, Prem Singh, Om Parkash, Panthers party leaders from Ramnagar Jagdev Singh, Ex-Sarpanch Sansar Singh, Mafeez Mohd, and others.
