KATHUA, Feb 19: Inter-District State Level Competition in the discipline of Cricket under-17 (Boys) began today at Mini Stadium Hiranagar and Army Ground Gadiyal.
The competition has been organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports office Kathua organized under the direction of Director General Youth Services and Sports J&K UT, Dr Saleem-Ur-Rehman.
The Chief Guest Dr Saleem-Ur-Rehman, Director General Youth Services and Sports J&K, UT, hoisted the flag and declared Open the tournament in the presence of Bashir Ahmed, Joint Director of Kashmir Division and Kumar, District Youth Services and Sports Officer Kathua (Chairman) along with Nasib Chand, PEM, DYSSO Kathua (Organizer Secretary), Joginder Kumar, PEM, DYSSO Kathua (Assistant Organizer Secretary), Mohan Lal Dub, PEM, DYSSO Kathua (Assistant Organizer Secretary), all ZPEOs of Twelve Zones of Kathua District, Hargopal Sharma, DYSS office Kathua, Sr. PEM Dharminder Singh Shally and Field Staff.
A total of 278 players of 19 districts are participating in this competition. The opening match was played between district Rajouri and district Budgam. |
