RAMBAN, Feb 19: As a part of the Centre’s initiative to promote generic medicines and to ensure affordable and quality medicines to the patients, a Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya-Jan Aushadhi Kendras PMBJAK has been opened in Banihal.
The Block Medical Official, Banihal, Dr. Rabia Khan inaugurated the facilities here in the premises of Emergency Hospital, Banihal.
Speaking on the occasion, the BMO urged the medicos to prescribe only generic medicines or the medicines that are available in the Jan Aushadhi Kendras and Government hospital to the patients.
The Jan Aushadhi Kendra is the best way to provide cheap and quality medicines to the economically weaker population,” She added.
She expressed satisfaction on the facilities and extended her gratitude to District Administration as well as Government for establishing the facility for the poor population of Banihal Sub- division. |
