| Vehicle Fitness Mela, Painting competition mark conclusion of Road Safety Month | | |

REASI, Feb 19: A closing ceremony with regard to month long Road Safety programme was organized at Reasi. A Vehicle Fitness Mela was organized at District Headquarter as a part of the valedictory event wherein Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Indu Kanwal Chib and SSP Reasi Rahsmi Wazir were present. Moreover, a painting competition for the school children on the theme ‘Sadak Suraksha, Jeevan Raksha’ was also organized in the Conference Hall of DC Office.
The students of various schools participated in the competition and highlighted the importance of Road Safety through their meaningful paintings.
Aagya Bhagat of (Class 7th) representing Gurukul Public Higher Secondary School, Reasi stood first in the competition while Vivek Chadha (Class 9th) of Presentation Convent School, Reasi secured second position.
Khushi Sharma (Class 6th) from Gurukul Public Higher Secondary School, Reasi managed to bag third spot in the competition. Later prizes were distributed among the winners. |
