Jammu, Feb 21: Outdoor nature walk cum Tree Talk event was today organized in the Jogger's park, Army cantonment,Nagrota where more than 200 officers ,family members and children participated in the learning event to know trees and medicinal plants growing around.
It was 1082nd Tree Talk session which was organized to spread tree linked Biodiversity conservation consciousness and how to keep ourselves healthy using medicinal herbs and traditional foods. Tree Talk started from the historic 200 year old Tree of Enlightenment,Bodhi tree ,sacred peepal tree haunted by fruit-eating barbets ,hornbills,green pigeons has therapeutic & cultural religious significance as well.
