Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 25: The 503rd Nirvana Divas of Satguru Kabir Sahib was commemorated in Sahib Bandgi Sant Ashram, Ranjhari under the guidance of Satguru Madhu Paramhans Sahib Ji. Spiritual satsang and bhandara was also organized on this occasion.
On this occasion, Sahib Ji said that on this day, Sadguru Kabir Sahib left his body in Maghar, Uttar Pradesh, exactly 503 years ago. This day is commemorated worldwide as Kabir Nirvana Divas but Sahib ji prefer to call it as Kabir Antardhyaan divas.
While highlighting the biography of Kabir Sahib, Sahib Ji said that he detested the frivolities and rituals, superstitions, hypocrisy and stereotypes spread in the field of devotion. Before Kabir Sahib only two types of devotions were prevalent - Saguna and Nirguna Bhakti. Kabir Sahib revealed to mankind the secret of Sadhguru Bhakti which was beyond these two types of Bhakti. He said that only by Sadhguru Bhakti can one attain complete salvation.
When he left this world, no bones or flesh were left behind and only the lotus flowers were found, which the Muslims picked up and made a mazaar and the Hindus made a Samadhi. His mazaar and samadhi stand side by side even today at Maghar as he was loved equally by both Hindus and Muslim.
He did this miracle in the presence of millions of people just to prove that he didn't came from mother's womb, he was not body, said Sahib Ji.
Kabir Sahib gave the message of humanity to the world by rising above all religion, caste and fraternity. He was in reality the Messiah of humanity because when casteism and bigotry was at its peak, at that time he initiated people from all castes and creeds to devote the Supreme Lord, which is a huge achievement in itself, said Sahib Ji, adding that His teachings are still relevant and are in perfect harmony with the social and religious need of the present society.
