Unscrupulous elements openly demanding bribes to provide question papers | Recruitment of Class-IV employees | | Early Times Report jammu, Feb 25: Even as authorities are trying to ensure transparency in the forthcoming objective type written test for recruitment of Class-IV employees, some unscrupulous elements are openly demanding bribes from the candidates. Reliable sources said that some employees of the J&K Services Selection Board (JKSSB) were also involved in cheating poor candidates. After getting reports that some people are trying to get money from candidates in lieu of providing question papers, J&KSSB issued a public notice to ensure that the test will be held in full transparency. "The JKSSB is in receipt of several complaints from the candidates that some people have been calling/mailing them and demanding bribe (monetary consideration) in lieu of providing question papers and their selection in the written test. It has been alleged that said people are claiming to be representatives of JKSSB", notice issued by Controller of Examinations, JKSSB, reads as. It is further mentioned in the notice, "As such, the Board advises all the candidates/applicants not to fall into the trap of such fraudsters/unscrupulous elements. The Board further clarifies that no employee of JKSSB has any access to the confidential activities of the examination process. The Board also urges candidates to bring any such incidents along with documentary proof to its notice immediately, for taking further necessary action in the matter". OMR based objective type written examinations for the posts of Class IV various departments, UT/divisional/district cadres will be held on February and March 1, 2021. |
