Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Feb 27: Dozens of roads leading to far flung and remote villages, including near the Line of Control (LoC), were closed on Saturday following fresh snowfall in the entire Kashmir valley. However, traffic was resumed on the road between border town of Karnah with district headquarter Kupwara after remaining suspended in the morning due to snowfall. 'We have suspended traffic between border towns of Machil and Keran with district headquarter Kupwara on Saturday following fresh snowfall since late last night', a Police Control Room (PCR) official told . Over one foot of fresh snowfall was recorded on both the roads. Dozens of other roads, leading to far-flung and remote villages, including those near the LoC, were also closed due to snowfall. |
