JAMMU, Feb 27: General Secretary Panthers Trade Union (PTU) and State President of Body Building Sports Association (BBSA) Sewa Singh Bali has urged upon the Prime Minister and Home Minister of India to save J&K and Ladakh UTs from “non-governance”. Addressing a press conference here today, Bali said that after a week-long whirlwind tour of Kherikund, Chadoora, Budgam, Srinagar, Baramulla, Kupwara, Kashmir, Lolab, Sogam, Lasipora, Qazigund, Banihal, Ukhral, Doda, Batote and Udhampur, it was witnessed that the administration in these rural areas is almost non-existent on ground. Public is facing hardships for want of governance, responsible functionaries in govt offices, hospitals, reportedly are playing truant under one pretext or the other in remote corners of both provinces, he added. |
