DC Rajouri orders removal of advertisement boards, banners | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Feb 28: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Rajesh Kumar Shravan has ordered to remove un-authorized advertisement boards, arches, hoardings, placards and banners with poles and frames on highways, public streets and pedestrian pavements. The Deputy Commissioner said these are the major hindrances to make the city clean. The un-authorized, illogical and irrational display of advertisements such as illegal banners, hoardings and posters are among the major problems in making a city beautiful, he said. “I am astonished to see that every electric pole, wall and every inch of space is flooded with these horadings, the Deputy Commissioner said. Those people who are installing hoardings/banners/placards should realize that they are also equal stakeholders in keeping the city clean and it is not judicious to publicize by defacing the city. The public of Rajouri has highly appreciated the steps of the District Administration and assured for full cooperation with the District Administration in such measures for marking the city beautiful. |
