| One arrested in theft case | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 28: Channi Himmat Jammu today arrested one person in a theft case from Kotli Charkan area of Bishnah tehsil.
A complaint was lodged at Police Post Sainik Colony by Tarseem Chand resident Sainik colony that some unknown thieves stole four Gas cylinders, one inverter battery and one induction from his home.
“On this case FIR No. 25/2021 u/s 457/380 IPC got registered at Police Station Channi Himmat and investigation started. A Police team led by in charge Police Post Sainik Colony SI Anil Kumar did strenuous efforts and finally with the help of technical assistance and CCTV footages of the area rounded up one suspect namely Labba Ram resident of Kotli Chakran Bishnah”, sources said, adding that during sustained questioning, accused confessed their involvement in the above case and on their disclosure stolen items such as 4 gas cylinders, inverters and batteries were recovered.
They further said that investigation is going on to ascertain his involvement in other such cases. |
