REASI, Mar 20: District Legal Services Authority Reasi, under the Chairmanship of Kamlesh Pandit, Principal District and Sessions Judge, (Chairman DLSA) today organized a Special Lok Adalat on directions of J&K Legal Services Authority.
A total 148 cases of different nature were taken up and 52 cases were resolved with a settlement amount of Rs. 616311.00
Four benches for settling the referred cases were constituted. The 1st bench was presided over by A.S. Langeh, Sub Judge, C.J.M and assisted by Assma Choudhary, Addl. Special Mobile Magistrate Reasi, the 2nd bench was presided over by Anjum Ara, Secretary (Sub Judge), District Legal Services Authority, Reasi, who was assisted by Rimpi Rani, Munsiff Reasi and the 3rd bench was presided over by Romesh Lal, Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Committee (Sub-Judge) Katra who was assisted by Sunil Kumar, Munsiff Katra and 4th bench was presided over by Mahavir Singh, Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Committee (Munsiff JMIC) Mahore who was assisted by Bar President Mahore. The bar members and litigants cooperated in settling the cases in this Special Lok Adalat. |
