| Newly nominated PDP office bearers felicitated | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 20: Asserting that Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party has stood the tests of times, newly appointed Vice President of the organisation Choudhary Abdul Hamid Saturday said that all attempts to weaken this party has always strengthen it further.
"Understand, represent and struggle for the aspirations of people is the basic responsibility for any political organisation. We are discharging our duty with honesty and dedication without succumbing to the pulls and pressures of the time", Choudhary said adding that entire leadership of the party stand behind PDP president Mehbooba Mufti with utmost sincerity.
He was addressing a party function, held here today, to felicitate the newly appointed team of the party for Jammu region.
Addressing the gathering, General Secretary Amreek Singh Reen exhorted upon the party works to reach out to the general masses, who are today at the crossroads due to bureaucratic system presently in place. "Each of our workers in each village is an asset of the society. He has to extend his arms to reachout to the needy", he said adding that newly appointed team will launch a mass contact programme across the region in order to highlight issues of people. |
