| NCC Cadets of DDC undertake cleaning of Balidan Stambh | | |

JAMMU, Mar 20: NCC Cadets of Dogra Degree College (DDC) visited Balidan Stambh today. The NCC Cadets undertook the task of meticulously cleaning the statues along with history plates installed in the premises of Balidan Stambh under the supervision of their ANOs/ CTOs Rajinder Kumar and Jeevan Lal of NCC Unit of Dogra Group of Colleges which falls under army wing of 4th J&K Battalion, Jammu.
The cadets not only cleaned the history plates and statues but also paid their respect by lighting up candles and floral tribute to the martyrs. The students observed and came to know about the war heroes decorated with Paramveer Chakra the bravery deeds of whom were written in golden words on the Stambhs especially erected for the purpose. The students were filled with patriotic fervor by the way in which the whole premises has been developed to pay homage to the martyrs of military, police and civilians who made the supreme sacrifice on the soil of Jammu & Kashmir upholding the sanctity of our borders and sovereignty of the nation. |
