Dogra Front demands helicopter service between Jammu-Baltal | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Mar 20: The workers of Dogra Front and Shiv Sena under the leadership of their president Ashok Gupta took out a rally demanding initiation of Helicopter services from Jammu to Baltal for Amarnath Yatra. The party workers congratulated the Governor for starting battery car for the 1st time during Amarnath Yatra. Ashok Gupta further expressed his gratitude towards the Lt Governor for making duration of 56 days for Amarnath Yatra as last year it was for 13 days due to COVID and in 2019 it was cut down as a precautionary measure because of abrogation of Article 370 & 35A. Gupta said that the initiation of Hleicopter services from Jammu to Baltal would be a big relief to the yatries as the waiting period would reduce in the Yatri camps and the travelling time would come down from days to hours. The Helicopter services from Jammu would also ensure boost to the tourism economy of Jammu which has been hit after the beginning of train services to Katra from Delhi. The party workers who were present at the time of protest were Bantu, Sukhdev, Kalu, Prem, Vinay, Suknandan, Rampal, Krishan, Abhishek and others.
