Ex MLA holds Janta Darbar | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 20: Former State President Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) and Ex Minister Sat Sharma (CA) today held a Janta Darbar and interacted with a large number of people to know about their grievances besides taking stock of remaining works, to be done in various areas. A large number of people hailing from various wards of Jammu West Assembly segment visited the Janta Darbar of former MLA and sought redressal of their grievances. Deputations hailing from wards 16, 17, 24, 32 and 40 led by party representatives met BJP leader and highlighted various issues. They further asked him to intervene in some matters at the earliest to avoid public distress. Speaking on the occasion, Sat said that a fruitful discussion was held with the deputations and many things came up during interaction, where the locals stressed for taking up some utmost important works in the area besides completing the same within stipulated time frame. Sharma asked the officials of concerned departments to immediately prepare estimates and take up works of lanes, left in all 26 wards of Jammu West Assembly segment, for providing better connectivity to the inhabitants. Sharma also spoke to concerned engineers of Power and Jal Shakti Departments and asked them to provide uninterrupted supply of power and water in all 26 wards of Jammu West. |
