Training programme on cutting, tailoring inaugurated | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 31: A month long training programme on cutting, tailoring and embroidery was inaugurated by Usha Anand, President Women Welfare Organization (WWO) in the premises of Environment Educational Institute (EVS), Mohalla Jullaka here. The programme has been sponsored by the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI). Today 30 participants/beneficiaries were addressed by the President of WWO, explaining them the use and training of their hidden talent which should be given plate form to help them in empowering them economically. A part from this, after being trained, WWO shall help them to find avenues in respect of starting their own units at individual level or by forming clusters/ self help group and registering themselves with Bank or funding agency to become self reliant and self sufficient.
