GoI, Baba Ramdev urged to reduce prices of essential products | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 31: The Batwal Youth Development Committee held its meeting in Channi Nanak here today. The Committee members said that the price of LPG cylinder had increased to the tune of Rs 200 in the last three months and the prices of petrol, kerosene, diesel and essential commodities are also on the rise in a rapid scale. The Committee members appealed the governments, both in Centre and Union Territory of J&K to slash VAT on the petroleum products and also control the hike in prices of essential commodities so as to provide relief to the poor people. They also urged Baba Ramdev to lower down the prices of Patanjali's essential products. Among those who attended the meeting included Tilak Raj, Girdhari Lal, Sohan Lal, Mohan Lal, Tarsem Lal and Anchal Kumar. |
