Jammu, Apr 1: Purnima Sharma felicitated winners of Sub-Junior Wushu National Championship which was held at Khel Gaon Mega Sports Complex, Ranchi, Jharkhand from 21st to 26th March, 2021. The felicitation program was organised at Ashoka New Diamond Hotel at Jewel in ward 19. During the felicitation program, the youth who bagged various medals were felicitated by the Deputy Mayor and Corporator Amit Gupta in the presence of Rohit Thakyal (Coach) and Rajiv Gupta. Speaking on the occasion, Purnima Sharma said that a group of 8 youth went to participate in Sub-Junior Wushu National Championship at Jharkhand in which this group of 8 students baged 9 medals from the Championship under the capable supervision of their coach Rohit Thakyal.
She further said that being the public representative today we are welcoming and felicitating all the students who participated and made out J&K proud by bagging 9 medals in the Sub-Junior Wushu National Championship. A total of 9 medals were bagged by the group of youth from Jammu consisting of 1 Silver medal by Bhavneet Singh in traditional Tiachi and 8 bronze medals by Aahan Sharma, Ritesh Pansotra, Rudra Pratap Singh, Hiranya Mahajan. |
