| “Students of GDC Kathua takes part in Mountaineering Expedition” | | |  Early Times Report
Kathua, Apr 1: Principal GDC Kathua on Thursday felicitated the students of Physical Education and Sports department, who participated in the Mountaineering expedition being organized by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu. The expedition was organized at the routes of Bhaderwah and Mansar, in which students from different colleges affiliated to University of Jammu have participated. The participants today met Principal GDC Kathua Prof. Assa Ram Sharma to share their experiences during the Trekking expedition. The students have given positive feedback to the regarding the organization and conduct of mountaineering expedition by the University of Jammu and thanked Dr.Daud Iqbal Bawa (Director Sports, University of Jammu). they also expressed their gratitude to worthy Principal for allowing them to take part. The Principal appreciated the Physical Director Dr J S Soodan and Dr Mehak Mengi (PTI) and the staff of Physical Education and Sports department for preparing and short listing the students to participate in this challenging task and getting new experience of overcoming the obstacles coming in the way of life. The students who participated were Mr. Abhshek kumar Gupta, Mr. Chinder Singh, Miss Akriti Dhanwal, Miss Shakshi Andotra. |
