JKNPP protests seeking justice for CISF, BSF aspirants | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Apr 1: Accusing the BJP govt of cheating the unemployed educated youth during elections in the name of employment, a strong contingent of Panther activists led by Harsh Dev Singh Chairman-JKNPP staged a protest demonstration in Jammu today. While torching the effigy of the govt, the angry protesters raised slogans seeking justice for the CISF, BSF aspirants sitting on protest for their genuine demands. Speaking to the media, Singh said that CISF and BSF aspirants had been languishing on roads outside the BJP head quarters in Trikuta Nagar for more than two months now seeking their absorption in paramilitary forces." No one has paid heed to their genuine demands. The BJP has only deceived them with false assurances for its political interests. Following the issuance of notification for the recruitment of 1356 constables in CISF and BSF in 2018, several thousands of aspirants from J&K had applied for the posts. When the aspirants raised their voice to increase the number of advertised posts, the BJP leadership assured the aspirants if they voted in favour of BJP in DDC elections the govt would further add 2,000 posts to the existing vacancies. But nothing of that sort happened. The deceitful BJP after receiving huge mandate from them in the elections only abandoned the youth like disposables", Harsh regretted. Highlighting the plight of all unemployed and underemployed educated youth of J&K Harsh Dev Singh vociferously raised the issues of thousand of daily wagers sitting on strike besides contractual teachers/ lecturers, SPOs, NYCs/NYVs, ASHA and Anganwadi workers, NHM employees, MGNREGA employees, ReK aspirants besides the ousted employees of H&ME Deptt and subject specific teachers appointed under SMAGRA etc who had come to roads seeking fulfillment of election time commitments made to them by the BJP. |
