Jammu, Apr 4 : Deepak Gupta elected as President of Traders Federation Ware House-Nehru Market(Regd.) Jammu.
Deepak Gupta has been elected as new president of the Traders Federation Ware House-Nehru Market(Regd.) Jammu (TFWHNM) and Sham lal Langer as General Secretary.
The elections for the six office bearers of the Traders Federation Ware House-Nehru Market(Regd.) Jammu was held at Bharat Regency Greater Kailash, Jammu today under the supervision of Rajesh Bhagotra, Election President. Out of the total 566 votes, 540 were polled today.
The two times former General Secretary of TFWHNM, Deepak Gupta was elected as President. He secured 414 votes and defeated his rival Sunil Gupta by 293 votes. Sunil Gupta got 121 votes while 5 votes were found invalid.
Munish Mahajan has been elected as senior vice president. He secured 326 votes and defeated his rival Dheeraj Gupta, who managed 206 votes. 8 votes were found invalid.
Abhimanyu Gupta secured 358 votes and was elected as junior vice president. He defeated Sandeep Gupta, who grabbed 178 votes and 4 votes were found invalid.
Sham Lal Langer has been elected as new general secretary of TFWHNM. He secured 370 votes and defeated his rival Naresh Gupta, who secured 169 votes. Only one vote found invalid for this post.
Vishal Gupta has been elected as secretary. He secured 421 votes and defeated Rajesh Gupta, who secured 115 votes and four votes were found invalid for this post while Amit Gupta who secured 338 votes was elected as Treasurer. He defeated Naman Gupta who got 197 votes. Five votes were found invalid.
The other members of the Election commitee were Rajan Gupta, Atul Khanna, Krishan Pal Gupta and Sudesh Gupta.
