RAMBAN, Apr 8: To generate employment opportunities for youth, the District Administration, Ramban mobilizes various departments to conduct career counselling sessions for youth across the district. Following the directions, Department of Employment and Counselling, Industries and Commerce and JKEDI conducted a career counseling session for youth at Government ITI, Ramban here today.
The District Heads of various departments including General Manager, District Industry Centre(DIC) Vishwajeet; AD Employment, Naresh Kumar; District Nodal Officer JKEDI, Yash Pal and Career Counselling Officer Ashaq Ayub Bhatt made students aware about various employment schemes and incentives being provided by the Government to youth.
During the interactive session, the officers shared their experiences and success stories to motivate the participants to choose their profession with confidence, besides preparing to face future challenges.
In his address, General Manager, DIC, sensitized the participants about job potential in the Industries Sector and benefits being extended by the Government to entrepreneurs under different schemes including Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme, MSME and Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan. |
