| Drug peddler arrested along with psychotropic substances | | |

KISHTWAR, Apr 10: Continuing its drive against the drug peddlers and its propagators, Kishtwar Police arrested one drug peddler from Sarkoot area in the outskirts of Kishtwar town and recovered psychotropic substance from his possession.
Acting on specific information, Kishtwar Police led by Insp Abid Bukhari SHO PS Kishtwar under the supervision of Dy SP Hqrs Devinder Singh Bandral laid a special Naka at Sarkoot crossing and arrested 1 drug peddler identified as Karanjeet S/O Vijay Kumar R/O Begana Kishtwar and recovered 10 packets of Tramadol tablets from the possession of arrested person. In this regard case FIR Number 61/2021 under relevant sections of NDPS stands registered at Police Station Kishtwar. |
