JAMMU, Apr 17: A delegation led by Deepak Gupta and Vidash Dalmotra submitted a memorandum to Executive Engineer PWD Div-I for their long pending issues of Ward 45 and 46 Jammu Municipal corporation.
While addressing the media Deepak said that a signature campaign was conducted for 3 days in Dogiana Rani Talab Road for awareness of the locals and getting support of people affected by these adverse facilities.
He said that the people of Jammu usually don't like to come out of their homes for these basic rights as this is the duty of the government to provide. He said that in November 2020 also we organized protests raising our demands but no action was taken and now we are left with no other option but to garner masses for the issue.
Vidash said that we are organising one to one meetings with the people of Ward 45 and Ward 46 and will bring them on roads if our demands are not fulfilled within one month, to which Er. Rajan Gupta said that the tendering process shall be complete within next few days and best roads facilities is his priority for people of Div-I.
