| Awareness campaign of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ begins | | |

REASI, Apr 17: A door to door awareness campaign of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ commenced at far-flung hilly hamlet Ikhani of Porakotla panchayat of Tehsil Pouni in District Reasi.
The campaign began in compliance to the guidelines of Directorate of School Education Jammu under the stewardship of Mushtaq Ahmed, Chief Education Officer, Reasi. The awareness campaign is led by Sanjeev Kumar Sharma, teacher, posted at GPS Ikhani in collaboration with ZEO Pouni with the motive to explore the creative instinct of students and encourage them to present their ideas on the related themes of Indian independence. "It's the need of hour to create sensitization among masses prior to mega celebration of 75th Independence Day on August 15, 2022 so that a sense of nation building/patriotism be strengthened among every citizen and every possible support will be given to volunteers of education department for wide awareness," said Sher Mohd, Naib Sarpanch of the remote area. |
