Construction work started at MBS Nagar Gadigarh

Jammu, Apr 19: Youdhvir Singh Councilor Ward No. 73 Gadigarh commenced the construction work of Lane and drain from the house of S. Jasbinder Singh to the house of S. Sukhbir Singh at Mahant Bachitter Singh (MBS) Nagar Upper Gadigarh in the presence of Locals of the area and the Engineering wing of Sub Division IV of MCJ Jammu.
A number of social activists who were present on the occasion appreciated the initiation of Lane and Drain work in the area, so dearly needed by the residents.
They appreciated the efforts of Councilor Singh for bringing development projects in Ward no. 73 Gadigarh.
The cost of project is 5.50 Lakh approximately and it is a long pending demand that can give the sigh of relief to the people of the area.
Prominent amongst those whose were present on this occasion includes S. Surjit Singh Ex. Secty. DGPC , S. Charanjeet Singh Retd SDM , S.Jasbir Singh , S.Gurdeep Singh , S.Harbinder Singh , S. Rasbir Singh , S. Jasvinder Singh , S. Gurmeet Singh , S. Dilbagh Singh , S. Sohan Singh Contractor , S. Manjot Singh J.E Sub Division IV of MCJ .
On this occasion Prof Singh also met with various deputations demanding the construction of lane and drain, black topping of the roads, electricity related problems and PHE related issues. The councilor assured all the people that their genuine demands shall be redressed in the due course of time.
He also intimated the people of the area about the cheerful news of dedicating crossing at Karan Bagh in the name of Sher-e-Punjab Maharaja Ranjit Singh who ruled India that had its boundaries from Tibet on one side to Afghanistan on the other with its Capital at Lahore for glorious Forty years. All the people were very amused to know the information and they welcomed it whole heartedly.
S.Surjit Singh also displayed his happiness while addressing on the occasion and thanked for the resolution passed by Municipal Corporation Jammu unanimously. At the end, this news was celebrated by distributing sweets among all those present in the occasion.
