Leh, May 4 : Amid the steep rise in COVID-19 infection cases in Ladakh, the authorities Tuesday said that the situation is under control and there is no shortage of required stock including oxygen, medicines, and beds. The Ladakh has a total of 1283 active positive cases with a recovery rate of 90 percent while 148 individuals have died due to the virus so far of which 104 in Leh and 44 in Kargil. The region has also reported a total of 14,315 cases since the pandemic among which 12,884 have recovered successfully from the infection. The region reported three COVID-19 positive deaths in the last 24 hours, all from the Leh district. |
