Iftkhar demands resignation of MoS in PMO over allegations of corruption
5/4/2021 11:32:11 PM

EARLY TIMES REPORT

RAJOURI, May 4: Indian Youth Congress (IYC) has demanded resignation of Dr Jitendra Singh, Minister of State in PMO for his alleged involvement in corruption as claimed by his own party leader Vikram Randhawa (ex-MLC) and BJP leader.
Addressing a presser here today, Iftkhar Ahmed, national spokesperson IYC said that Randhawa in a press conference leveled serious allegations against the Union MoS in PMO and his staff in Jammu for having hand in glove with the corrupt officers in the administration, police and other departments.
Iftkhar said, “It is a serious matter that a senior BJP leader (ex-MLC) has leveled such allegations and Youth congress appeal to the LG Manoj Sinha to frame a high level committee and order probe into the matter.”
He further said that Modi Govt’s slogan “Na Khaoonga Na Khane Dunga” is fully exposed as his close minister is involved in deep rooted corruption. He took a step forward and demanded CBI inquiry as Vikram Randhawa clearly mentioned the name of official involved in the corruption.
Iftkhar further said that instead of suspending Dr Jitendra Singh on moral grounds, Bhartiya Janata Party has served a show cause notice to Randhawa for “tarnishing” the party image in the public and for using unparliamentary language.
Among those who also accompanied in the press conference include Mushtaq Ahmed, State Secretary Congress Seva Dal Incharge Rajouri Poonch, Shah Nawaz Khaki PYC State Coordinator, Amit Syal PYC State Secretary, Saddam Zia block president Doongi.
