Udhampur, May 7: Whenever society is in need of any kind of help due to any compulsions, every capable hand should come forward for the benefit of society because service to humanity is service to God.
Keeping in view the current situation, Mahadeep Singh Jamwal President Senior Citizens’ Club Udhampur expressed these words in a press conference today. Jamwal appealed that the able people should come forward for all possible help to the needy. Jamwal informed that 'Sarveshwar Foundation' founded by Suraj Parkash Gupta, Pooja Gupta and Navnidhi as its trustees, always stands in a prominent line as a ray of faith and hope for the last man in the field of social activities and reaches door-to-door for any help. In the Corona period, and to ease out burden on the government the Foundation has set a target to reach five thousand families in the Jammu region for distribution of rations and other items of daily needs in the first phase. Rohit Gupta chairman ‘Sarveshwar Foods Limited’ has fully integrated his company in this noble mission. Senior Citizen Club Udhampur is in touch with the trustees of this ‘Sarveshwar Foundation’ to extend the distribution to large population of Udhampur district, who are living below the poverty line and most affected in the Corona period.
To achieve this goal, the club has finalized the sector and strategy to ensure delivery to the right person in consultation with the elected representatives of the people and distribution will be launched next week.
