| Convert shopping mall at bus stand to hospital | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 13: Citizen's Forum has MOS and LG Manoj Sinha that it doesn't want piecemeal covid management arrangements for Jammu.
In the absence of any concrete covid arrangement plan for the entire population to meet the challenge of 2nd and 3rd expected wave of covid, plan a testing and vaccination drive of the entire population including rural areas like other states of UP , Maharashtra , Delhi etc. UP and Maharashtra have placed Global Vax tenders to meet the vaccination requirement why not J&K UT also make similar arrangements.
We have many times suggested UT can go for extra Loan like other states.
R K Chadha, president citizen's forum said many times that we have requested the UT government that, having shortage of medicine, vaccination and proper places , arrangements are being done in private general public houses ,without any sanitised conditions perhaps to please the leadership of Jammu.
We had suggested army establishments be used for the purpose as is used for Polio Drops. We once again request the UT Government to convert the newly constructed Shopping Mall at bus stand Jammu as a main Hospital to cater the entire Jammu province and lessen the load of patients at GMC. We don’t need shops, we need hospitals. |
