Ensure COVID vaccination supplies to pvt nursing homes: Pankaj Kohli | | | JAMMU, May 13: Social activist Pankaj Kohli appealed to LG and Commissioner Secretary Health to personally intervene for immediately providing COVID vaccinations to private nursing homes which are already approved by Govt of India and state health services for vaccination. In a statement issued here today, Pankaj Kohli said that whereas many a persons under CoWin registration have taken their 1st dose of the vaccination and waiting for their 2nd dose, adding that the state administration should immediately place supplies of vaccination with private clinics and hospitals on paid basis to reduce load on hospitals and government vaccination centres. Moreover it will help in social distancing and the senior citizens will promptly receive their vaccination without hesitations, he said, adding that early supplies of vaccination will instill confidence among the general public in this hour of crisis and pandemic. He also requested all leading hoteliers, banquet hall owners and catering services owners to come forward at this critical time of hour to help affected families and the general public with their catering services so that the deserving affected families may get their food at their homes and hospitals. Kholi appealed to LG Manoj Sinha and Divisional Commissioner Jammu to utilize the vacant buildings like Hotel Ashoka at Manda, Kala Kendra at Bikram Chowk.
