Leh, May 15: Jammu administration began door-to-door exercise to create awareness about COVID helpline and hospitals in the district. They also informed locals on how to identify COVID patients. Speaking on the current COVID situation, Deputy Commissioner Anshul Garg said that the death rate in Jammu is a matter of concern and the door-to-door awareness exercise is an attempt to break cycle so that there is no late reporting of the cases. “Started 2 days back so that our booth level team reach the roughly 4 lakh households here. They're giving pamphlets to people, with dist COVID helpline numbers. Symptomatic people are being urged to get tested. They’re being told about COVID centres and hospitals”, said the Deputy Commissioner.
