Pradesh Vishwakarma Sabha seeks succor for labour class | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 20: Jammu and Kashmir is reeling under lockdown and labour class is suffering a lot because of no job and no source of income. Their families are now hand to mouth these days. This matter is very serious and it becomes the duty of the UT govt to provide every help to sustain their lives. The matter was discussed in the executive meet of the Pradesh Vishwakarma Sabha under the chairmanship of its president Shashi Verma wherein all the participants demanded help for the labour class on the pattern of Kerela govt which is providing free ration and cash help to feed their families while also not charging water and electric bills for the lockdown period. All the members who met here telephonically have urged the Lieutenant Governor to adopt this pattern to help the helpless labour class. All the executive members including Vijay Kumar General Secretary and Jagdish Raj State Secretary, Charanjeet Chargotra, Rakesh Chalotra, Sham Chargotra, Vinodh Jaral and Joginder Pal appealed the Lt Governor to provide immediate help to the helpless. |
