| Body of 35-yr old man found in nullah in Anantnag | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, June 1: Body of a 35-year-old man was found under suspicious circumstances in a nullah in south Kashmir district of Anantnag on Tuesday.
Official sources said that panic gripped Dooru area in Anantnag when some locals saw body of a man floating in a nullah on Tuesday afternoon. ?The locals immediately informed the police,? they said, adding that a team was rushed to the spot and the body was taken away.
They said the deceased was later identified as Reyaz Ahmad, a resident of Hallan Verinag. ?After completing all the legal and medical formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites,? they said.
They said police has registered a case and initiated investigation to ascertain the cause of the death. |
