| DDC Chairman takes stock of facilities at GMC Kathua; PHC Lakhanpur | | |

KATHUA, June 1: Col Mahan Singh, Chairman District Development Council (DDC) Kathua, today visited GMC Kathua and PHC Lakhanpur and took stock of the healthcare facilities being provided to the people there. He also inspected the newly established oxygen plant at GMC Hospital at Kathua. Singh was accompanied by Raghunandan Singh Bablu, DDC Vice Chairman; Neeru Rajput, DDC Member Mandali; Naresh Sharma, MC President Kathua; Gopal Mahajan BJP District President Kathua during his visit to GMC & District Hospital Kathua. Moreover, Puneet Sharma ADDC Kathua, Ashok Choudhary CMO, Smt Anjli Bhatt Principal GMC and Sohan Lal District Panchayat Officer were also present on the occasion. Besides interacting with people there the DDC Chairman enquired about the problems and issues being faced by doctors and staff.
While expressing satisfaction over the facilities and services provided to the people, the DDC Chairman lauded the doctors and para-medical staff for their devoted efforts in fighting the deadly virus from the forefront least bothering about their own life. Principal GMC Kathua and the CMO while briefing the DDC Chairman about COVID related operation in the District, brought to his notice various shortcomings that crave immediate attention. Col Mahan Singh assured them that he would be soon taking up the matter with the concerned authorities to address the issue of shortcomings on priority. |
