For her, there is immense versatility in Indian folk and Classical arts and it needs to be appropriately revisited. Citing the relevance of Ethinic Theatre, she suggested it to be connected to roots as it gives depth to one’s performance. She has been working intensively on the folk-traditional arts of North Eastern States and has extensively interpreted and reinterpreted many established works. She states that there is a lot of vibrancy and colour in the art forms of North East, which may be developed into a distinctive language of theatre. She very interestingly stated that the success of theatre artists in Bollywood has created the need for theatre training for actors. Speaking about the present situation of the Corona crisis in which every artistic work had stopped, she devised new ways to train her students through virtual mediums. An optimistic person, Rabijita believes in possibilities rather than limitations. She opines that to become a good theatre teacher, one has to become a good student forever and should upgrade and update himself/herself consistently.
