Jammu, June 26: The Placement Cell of GCOE, Jammu organized a lively and interactive online session on, “How to prepare oneself for an interview? The main resource person was Brig. Dr. Vijay Sagar Dhiman. The students of the college participated in the meeting enthusiastically. Brig. Dhiman shared the psycho-metric techniques of personality assessment, ways to improve body language and how to use of all the sense organs. He also shared what exactly makes a candidate stand out among the crowd. He also motivated the students to explore their full potential. The students kept on floating questions during the entire session. The queries were answered in a comprehensive manner. In the inaugural session, the Principal of the institution Prof (Dr) Kulvinder Kour, motivated the students to take maximum benefits of the programs run by the institution. She also assured the students that the college will conduct workshops with Brig. (Dr.) Dheman, a human resource trainer, so that the students get exposure to the demands of the current job scenario. The meeting was conducted by convener of Placement Cell, Prof Shalini Rana. The faculty members who were present during the meeting were Prof B L Thakur, Dr Tahira Shah, Prof Shapia Shameem and others. The students who were involved in organizing the program were Sunaina, Yasmeen Choudhary, Mamta Khajuria, Monika Chib, Nishi Rana, Rachna Devi, Mukeet Sheikh, Pushpa Basnett, Anu, Roshni Dogra and Romi Sharma. The program was attended by all the students of different wings of the college.
