BJP projected KPs’ issues in right perspective at APM: Wanchoo
6/26/2021 11:38:53 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT

JAMMU, June 26: BJYM Spokesperson J&K Chetan Wanchoo on Saturday expressed delight over the success of the All Party Meeting (APM) called by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 24 at his residence in New Delhi.
In a statement issued here, Wanchoo said that the initiative taken by PM Modi to reinvigorate the political process in J&K is quite praiseworthy as the political deadlock has been broken by the success of APM.
Talking specifically on the BJP delegation that projected the demand of KP community’s dignified and safe return and rehabilitation in the Valley, the BJYM spokesperson hailed the UT’s BJP leadership for taking up the issue under the right perspective. He said that the BJP delegation has asked the Prime Minister to constitute an apex body which after deliberations with all the stakeholders will come up with a failsafe plan to ensure respectful return of the KPs to Valley and will also augur to fulfill other demands of the displaced community which is moving from post to pillar for justice since its exodus from Kashmir in 1990.
Wanchoo said that the BJP leaders from J&K have vociferously highlighted the issues which are of immense importance for the Kashmiri Pandit community thus kindling the hope among the people who have lost the same due to indifference of successive governments which did nothing except lip service for the community.
The BJYM leader expressed hope that the Prime Minister will take cognizance of the plight of the KPs which has been discussed threadbare by the BJP leadership in the APM and the days of misery will soon be over as he will pave way for early return of KPs to their homes.
