| Govt teacher assaults Panchyat Inspector | | |

POONCH, July 7: In the Mankot block of Mendhar sub-division of this district, a case of assault has come to light by the teacher of a government school with the panchayat Inspector of the rural development department (RDD).
Reports said that a resident of Sagara namely Mohammad Farooq, son of Mohammad Khaleel, RET posted at Government Primary School Dura manhandled with Panchayat Inspector Sanjay Kumar at BDO Office Mankote during duty time.
A case has been registered against the accused teacher at Mendhar police station. Sanjay accused the teacher and said that the RET came to his office and started threatening him and then he started beating him in front of other employees. |
