JAMMU, July 7: A motorcyclist was killed after being hit by a truck near Narwal area on Wednesday, here in the city outskirts.
Police said that the biker, identified as Surjit Singh,45, son of Gambhir Singh, a resident of Bakshi Nagar, Jammu, was hit by a truck this morning opposite Wave Mall leaving him dead on the spot.
Police said that the truck has been seized and the driver has been arrested.
The body was shifted to the Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu for autopsy. |
