Ghulam Nabi Azad's five points hailed | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, July 7: A Press Conference was held at Gangyal Jammu and Th. Jai Singh Sr. Congress leader chaired it. The main agenda of the press conference was all party meeting of J&K leaders with Prime Minister Narender Modi which was held in New Delhi on 24th June 2021. Jai Singh appreciated Ghulam Nabi Azad five points which was discuss in the meeting like restoration of statehood, rehabiliation of kashmir pandits in J and K, Release of all political detainees, conducting assembly elections to restore democracy and delimitation process. Th. Jai Singh also appreciates Former Dy Cm Tara Chand statement where he had spoken on abrogation of Article 370 and 35-A and appreciate it. The Congress party also demands that the delimitation process should be done on 2020 census. But the Central Govt is doing it on the basis of 2011 census. Th. Jai Singh also said that when Ghulam Nabi Azad visited Sainik Farms Sainik Colony in Feb 2021, thousands of people comes to the airport to receive him. But the very next day, some bad elements burnt the poster of Azad Saab which he condemns it. Th. Jai Singh also said that when Azad Saab finished meeting with Prime Minister, some bad elements showed that Azad Saab is leaving congress and joining other party. But Azad Saab said that he is a Congress worker and always be a congress worker. Corporator Gourav Chopra condemned the persons who burnt poster of Azad Saab. Ch . Sobat Ali Corporator Ward No. 74 appeals to PCCI President to remove those people from Congress party and also said that Azad Saab will form the govt after elections.
