SRINAGAR, July 7: Sushma Chauhan, Administrative Secretary Higher Education Department, J&K releases book titled "Role of teacher is vital in society" authored by Late Dr. Satya Pal Vaid at Civil Secretariat Srinagar. During the function, Rakesh Badyal, , Additional Secretary Higher Education Department (HED), Vikas Dhar Bhagati, Deputy Secretary HED and Ajay Vaid, who is also an author of various books, were also present.
The book highlights the role of teacher as builders of Nation, youth and civilization as also their contribution to the society. The book also contains articles from various academicians, researchers and bureaucrats. It is a tribute to teachers from a teacher as author himself belonged to teaching faculty.
Late S.P Vaid has authored 15+ titles on different subjects.
He was decorated by State and National award. He was allotted two projects by I.C.S.S.R (Ministry of Human Resources, GoI) and one project by UGC. He served for four decades in Education Department. Many of his students are holding various key positions. Ajay Vaid being an author has also written 7+ titles. All of them are on burning topics of the present society.
Two books titled "Beyond alcoholism & Drug addiction" and "Self employability / employability skills" have been released by Sh. Dilbagh Singh (D.G. Police, J&K), another book has been recently released by Manoj Dwivedi (IAS), Commissioner Secretary G.A.D. on the topic was "Think big and positive". Students can take huge advantage of all these books. |
