Regional Director Revenue reviews progress digitization of Land Record in Kathua

KATHUA, July 7: Regional Director, Revenue, Bhawani Rakwal, today reviewed the progress of digitization of revenue records in the District Kathua, here at a meeting convened at Conference Hall of DC Office. District Development Commissioner Kathua, Rahul Yadav, Additional Deputy Commissioner Atul Gupta, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Sub Divisional Magistrates ,Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars attended the meeting.
Addressing the revenue officers, Bhawani Rakwal stressed upon the officers to pace up the scanning of documents and digitization of the land records .The revenue officers were directed to follow the set guidelines and procedures while making the entries in the revenue records.
The officers were asked to comply with the directions of Honorable Court, orders of Divisional Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner regarding the state land issues. They were asked to keep the land record properly maintained for the upcoming survey. He said that revenue officials would be trained for proper checking of the scanned data of record.
The DDC, while speaking on the occasion, said that the issues where directions are required should be sent to higher authorities. He asked the officers to work in a coordinated way for the speedy completion of digitization of land records.
