DIET in process of reviewing text books for schools

UDHAMPUR, July 12: DIET Kud (Udhampur) is reviewing text books for Elementary, Secondary and Higher Secondary level in the subject of Geography and Dogri language.
Subject experts in the Subject of Geography and Dogri under the supervision of Principal DIET Kud, Udhampur Sikander Lal are working for reviewing the content with addition and deletion of content with suitable local based examples so that better understanding can be made possible for students.
Principal DIET personally intervened and initiate the process of review. As of now committee has completed 70% work and will be over on or before 26th of July 2021.
Chairman JKBOSE, Director SCERT Prof. Veena Pandita and Principal Secretary to Government School Education B.K Singh wants to change the curriculum as per the need of the child centric. So in this context DIET office kud is working over it and a blue print regarding it will be submitted so that necessary changes can be made in these subjects.
Dr Hardev Singh, Kanchan Sharma, Amit Sharma, Sanjeev Kumar working for the Subject of Geography and Surjit Singh Bahdshali, Shashi Bala, Ritu and Rituca are looking for Dogri language.
