| RMPS organises intra-school poem recital | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 15: RM Public School organized an English poem recitation competition for the teachers of the school.
In the first ever competition of its kind, the teachers read and recited classical poems by the like of William Shakespeare, John Milton, William Wordsworth and the likes. The excitement and tension was palpable as every teacher gave her best to create an atmosphere of English Romanticism with their own rendition of the beautiful poems by the maestros of poetry.
The Director of the school Rakshan Mengi was suitably impressed by the efforts of the teachers. He appreciated the endeavour of the teachers and their fervour.
The programme was judged by the Principal Shuchita Gupta and Incharge Suman. Shilpa Gupta and Poonam Mala of Penguin Paradise were declared the winner and first runner up respectively while Priyanka Anand of Jagat building was adjusted second runner up. |
